Rohit Sharma becomes third Indian to reach top-10 in all three formats

Rohit Sharma, who made his innings debut in the Test series against South Africa, became the third Indian to reach the top-10 in all three formats in the ICC rankings.  Captain ViratKohli before Rohit and GautamGambhir, who has said goodbye to cricket, have received this credit.  Rohit scored 212 runs in the third Test in Ranchi and climbed 12 places to reach 10th position in the ICC Test rankings.

 

AjinkyaRahane reached a career-best fifth ranking.  He is the third Indian after Kohli and CheteshwarPujara in the Test batsmen rankings.  Mayank Agarwal is at 18th position.  Rohit, who was Player of the Series, was ranked 44th before the series.

 

Rohit reached second position in the ICC rankings in ODI in February 2018 and seventh in November 2018 in T20.  Kohli has been number-1 in all three formats.  At the same time, Gambhir finished top in Tests and T20s and eighth in ODIs.  Fast bowlers Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav are ranked 14th and 21st respectively.  George Linde is ranked 104 for South Africa.

Newly appointed coach of Bangladesh cricket team Russell Domingo has made a significant statement about playing T20 matches in Delhi.  Bangladesh’s team is currently practicing for the first T20 match of the series to be played in Delhi.  Domingo said that no one is dying because the problem of pollution is also in our country.  He said that getting contaminated air in Delhi was not a big matter for him because it is a problem in many countries of the world.

 

He said, “We know the Sri Lankan team struggled here for the last time. See, there is a lot of pollution in Bangladesh so it was not a big issue for us. It is in many countries of the world. Players are busy with the game  Have been and are not complaining too much about it. ”

 

Let me tell you that as the wind gets better in Delhi, the players are seen practicing removing their masks.  Only support staff Daniel Vettori appears in a mask as he is not from Bangladesh.

 

Domingo further said, “It’s only a matter of three hours and after that everything will be easy. There may be a slight itching in the eyes, the throat becomes a bit bitter but it’s okay. Anyone dying in such a situation  Not so. ”

Everything is not right in Bangladesh cricket these days.  This indicates the fact that the players of the team going on strike against the board just before the important tour of India.  The board considers the tour to India very important, so it decided to accept almost all the demands placed by the players.  Now the chairman of the board has revealed that many players can withdraw from the tour of India.

 

Bangladesh cricket team will come to India on Wednesday to play T20 and Test series.  The team will reach Delhi on 30 October.  Just before leaving for the tour, the Bangladesh Cricket Board surprised everyone with a statement.  Team opener Tamim Iqbal has withdrawn from the tour of India due to personal reasons.  Bangladesh Cricket Board Chairman Nazmul Hasan said that many players can withdraw their names from the tour of India.

 

He said, “After Tamim withdraws from India, I will not be surprised if anyone else withdraws his name. We will have no option even if a player withdraws his name at the last moment.”  . I called Shakib to talk. Now, if he also withdraws his name, where will I look for the captain. I have to change the entire combination.  What will I do with it? ”

 

Hasan feels that he has got into the tricks of the players.  He feels that he made a mistake by accepting the players demand.  “I still don’t believe it. I talk to all of them every day. They didn’t tell me anything before the strike. I think it was a mistake on my part that I acceded to their demand. I would never  should not have.”
