Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi will launch Rozgar Mela – the recruitment
drive for 10 lakh personnel on 22nd October, 2022 via video conferencing. During
the ceremony, appointment letters will be handed over to 75,000 newly inducted
appointees throughout the country. Recruitment will take place across different
Ministries, Departments, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies, Education and Health
Institutions etc. Prime Minister will also address these appointees on the occasion.
In the functions to be held at Kharagpur and Ranchi, around 480
Appointment Letters will be handed over to the newly inducted recruits for
different posts in various Ministries including Railways, PSUs, Autonomous Bodies
etc. The posts on which appointments are being made include Assistant Loco Pilots,
Guards, Station Masters, Clerks, Junior Engineers, Helpers, Technician, Sub-
Inspector, Constable, Postal Assistant, Stenographer, Junior Accountant, Inspector,
Translator, Chemical Assistant, Income Tax Inspector, Draughtsman, Motor Driver,
Teacher, Nurses, Lecturers, Assistant Commissioner, Scientist etc.
These recruitments are being done in Mission Mode by Ministries and
Departments either by themselves or through Recruiting Agencies viz UPSC, SSC,
RRB, RRC etc. For expeditious recruitment, selection processes have been simplified
and made tech enabled.
